Who am I?

Hi there, I'm Candy.  Just a few little things you might want to know about me:

• I live on a working ranch in the most gorgeous place on earth.
• My husband is a real-life cowboy that wears a cowboy hat, wranglers, boots and spurs every day...and I mean every day (love that about him..whew)
• I was born with boots on, always been a cowgirl at heart. I mean I even have a belt with my name on it...you know like the song, "redneck girl got her name on the back of her belt..." It's just that I didn't get to actually plant my boots on a ranch until I met my husband. (not that you have to live on a ranch/farm to be a cowgirl by any means)  My grandpa raised and trained race horses when I was a little girl and I was 100% raised in the country, so it is natural for me to be a cowgirl. LOL 
• I teach mathematics at a high school about 45 minutes from our home.  I teach algebras...Algebra I, Algebraic Connections, and Algebra II...and I don't think I'm a geek.  Am I?
• I am sarcastic, but I do it in love, it's just my way of communicating.  I've been around teenagers for years, that may explain why.
• We have five kiddos between us ranging from thirteen to four.  They're our pride and joy.  Well yeah it's crazy, but life is always exciting!
• We raise about 75000 chickens (in 3 chicken houses).  I enjoy working in them and actually have worked in chicken houses for about eight or nine years...yeah my memory is bad...that's another thing. The ranch also includes a cattle and horse operation.
• I love my family and Jesus!
• I am addicted to music...can't hardly go without it.
• Oh and I may be a little feisty, or so I've been told. It's still up for debate.
• Finally ~ I love my husband with all my heart (Jesus is #1 don't worry)...it's easy to love someone that treats me the way he does.
• I'm sure I will think of more things to add later.
• See...I am a soon to be full-time stay-at-home mom and rancher after this school year.
