Got wavy hair?

I know it's not proper English to ask if you've "got" wavy hair, I know it should be "have," but I like the sound of the first better than the latter.  I have spent lots of time researching the best hair products for wavy hair.  I don't have curly hair and I don't have hair that will dry straight on its own, it's wavy.  If I want my hair to be strait I have to blow dry it with a brush... and it takes for-e-v-er!  My hair is thick and long and again it takes forever to blow dry.  I finally found a pretty good combo for my hair routine.

  • First, I wash my hair with Fructist Body Boost shampoo and condition with Aussie 3 Minute Miracle.  Second, I spray a leave-in conditioner all-over to help detangle my strands.  I prefer Pantene's leave-in conditioner for thick hair.  I like to make sure my hair isn't dripping wet, but towel dried.

  •  Next, I brush through my hair making sure to get out all tangles.

  • Now comes the good stuff...I use a palm full of Herbal Essance Totally Twisted Mousse, working it through my hair, but not close to my crown.  It smells heavenly.  I like to flip my head down and work the mousse through the hair closest to my neck.  Of course, the amount of mousse will depend on how much hair you have.  I usually do this routine at night right before bed.

  •  I make sure and part my hair how I want it to dry.

  •  I get up the next morning and it doesn't take much to head out the door.

  • If I do happen to wait until morning to wash my hair, I follow the same routine, I just add blow drying my roots so that I can tease the crown of my hair, which is impossible when it is wet.

I have learned to not fight the waves but to embrace them.
